"You called your dad?" Blaine asks, changed into his pajamas too when Kurt gets back in the room, and Kurt nods, tucking his phone away.
"He’s… not exactly happy about it, since we’re, you know, dating," Kurt says slowly, warmth flooding his face at the implication. "But he’d rather I stay over than try to drive home in the storm." As if on cue, there’s a bright flash of lightning and the following clap of thunder seems to shake the whole house. Kurt jumps at the noise, and doesn’t resist when Blaine pulls him onto the bed.
"Scared?" Blaine asks, but his eyes are soft instead of teasing.
"Of course not," Kurt huffs out, but Blaine just smiles knowingly, gaze dropping to Kurt’s mouth before he leans in, his lips warm and soft against Kurt’s.
